COPPER APPLE BUTTER KETTLE

THE KETTLE IS:
15" DIAMETER AT TOP, 10" DEEP, 11 1/2" BOTTOM DIAMETER.
HEIGHT OF THE KETTLE SITTING ON THE TRIPOD CRADDLE IS
18" HIGH. THE BALE HANDLE IS CAST IRON, ATTACHED TO
THE KETTLE WITH A PAIR OF BRASS/COPPER HINGES, WITH
RIVETS.
THERE IS NO HOLES, CRACKS, OR NOTICEABLE DENTS, OR
REPAIR.
THE KETTLE IS READY TO BE USED TO MAKE APPLE BUTTER!!
THE TRIPOD CRADLE ARE CAST IRON, THE RING IS ALMOST
17" DIA, MADE OUT OF IRON PLATE 1 1/2" BY 1/4" THICK. THE
THREE LEGGS ALSO ARE IRON PLATES 1 1/2" BY 1/4" BENT
AND CONNECTED WITH RIVETS. THE CAST IRON IS RUSTY AT
SURFACE, BUT STRUCTURALLY SOUND.
THIS BUTTER KETTLE WAS PURCHASED AT AN ESTATE SALE
NEAR FLORENCE MISSOURI. IT IS A GENUINE ANTIQUE.
